Counselor Corner
💬 Counselor’s Corner: September 22nd–26th
Dear Families,
We’re moving into the final stretch of September, and we have some exciting opportunities for families this week!
đź“… Important Events:
🍔 McDonald’s Family Night – Tuesday, Sept. 23rd. Join us for a fun evening to connect with other families and support our school.
💡 Act on Drugs Parent Presentation – Thursday, Sept. 25th. This powerful program provides resources and strategies to help families talk about the dangers of drugs and empower students to make safe choices.
📚 Academics: We’re now several weeks into the trimester, and it’s a great time for students to check grades and stay caught up with assignments. Encourage your child to stay organized and communicate with teachers if they need help.
🌟 PBIS: We continue to remind students of our school-wide expectations—Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe. Family nights and parent presentations are also great ways to model these values as a community.
💙 Social-Emotional: Events like these bring families and schools together to build stronger support systems for students. Talk with your child about what they’re learning at school, and use these events as a springboard for conversations at home.
We look forward to seeing many of you at our events this week!
With care,
Miss Torres & Ms. Morales Garcia
