Peek at the Week

We are providing the assessment schedule in advance to help families plan and ensure students have the best opportunity for success. These assessments will count as final grades, making attendance on testing days critical. One of the most important ways you can support your child is by ensuring they are present and prepared on their assigned testing day. Students who take make-up tests typically do not perform as well, so we are keeping it simple— don’t miss school on Tuesdays! Every Tuesday, we will hold scheduled testing, so please avoid scheduling appointments or absences on those days.

Unlike in previous years, we will be permitted to release assessment scores to families right away**, allowing for more effective follow-up and support. This means you will have timely access to your child’s results and can work with us to address any areas of need before the school year ends.

Also, Save the Date for May 22nd! Parents and students will be invited to a special End-of-Year Goal Celebration to review scores and progress from the year. This will be the first time we can share scores before summer break, allowing students to see their growth and achievements. Our students have worked hard and made incredible progress—it’s time for them to show what they know! Thank you for your support in making this a smooth and successful testing season.

📌 April 8th – Writing Assessment (K-8)

📌 April 29th – Science GSA (Grades 5 & 8), Finals for all other grades

📌 May 6th – ELA GSA (Grades 3-8), iReady ELA Diagnostic (K-2)

📌 May 13th – Math GSA (Grades 3-8), iReady Math Diagnostic (K-2)

📌 May 22nd – Goal Celebration – Students will review their progress and goals with families, bringing us full circle from our BOY Game Day event. We will discuss options for holding this event either during the school day or after school.
