Happy absolutely beautiful Sunday!

Wow! I don't have words for just how gorgeous the weather is nor do I have them for what a special week it was at Craddock! The staff of Craddock never lose sight of why we do what we do each day because we get a million reminders daily from the most amazing 1st and 2nd graders in the world! The days of this week were no exception! Thank you for raising them to be kind, caring, hard-working, conscientious and truly adorable kids!

We began the week with our annual 2nd grade performance called "Pajama Party." The kids were all decked out in their jammies and sang their hearts out the entire show! It was so wonderful and heart warming! Both productions were equally wonderful! I included a short clip of one of them below! Endless thanks to Miss Mia Bester, Craddock's music teacher for doing a fantastic job putting the show together, rehearsing and making sure the kids were ready to go. In addition, the show would have lacked it's cuteness without the hard work of Mrs. Sarver and multiple Craddock parents! They put together the most amazing props to support both shows! We are so grateful for the time and effort they dedicated! Thank you!

As the week continued, many of our students participated in Aurora's annual Exceptional Greenmen event at the AHS track. While the weather could have been a bit sunnier and warmer, that didn't quiet the cheers of all the spectators for the hard work of our students. They ran, jumped and cheered their way to victory with support from the staff and their peers. We want to extend special thanks to Aurora's Director of Pupil Services and Dr. Jessel for organizing this special event. We are also so grateful to our amazing intervention specialists Miss Mt. Castle and Ms. Eskridge, as well as numerous paraeducators for supporting our students! We couldn't do this event without any of them! Again, I included a few pictures below! Please check them out!

Buckle up for these last nine days! They are always so much fun, but they come fast and furious and are filled with lots of events! Please stay tightly tied to the Weekly Update for all you need to know! I will also be sending some special communication to our 2nd grade families regarding our annual Lunch on the Lawn the last day of school! Be looking for that!

In the meantime, soak up this gorgeous day and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions, concerns or feedback.

Take care,

Kim Stewart, Principal

Transportation Information from Mrs Wingler 🚌

All students schedules are currently available through the MyBus K-12 App. How to access the App is located on the ACSD website under Departments/Transportation on the right side of the webpage. I have included the link below.

If any student is needing to be picked up or dropped off other than their home location, they MUST fill out an alternate bus stop form before we can transport and return to us by email, fax or dropping off at the office. That form is located in the same area as listed below on the webpage and is also included below.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. My email is cwingler@aurora-schools.org.
