Apollo Theater Camps
OPTION 1: Apollo Camp - June 23-26 (limited to 40 students) - This week-long immersive camp experience designed to introduce students in Grades 4 & 5 to the exciting world of theatre—on stage, backstage, and everywhere in between—without the pressure of performing for an audience. Hosted at the historic Apollo Civic Theatre, this program encourages curiosity, creativity, and collaboration in a supportive, low-stress environment where the process, not the product, takes center stage. This camp is about exploration, not exhibition. Campers will engage with the magic of theatre by stepping into the shoes of actors, directors, set designers, lighting technicians, stage managers, and costumers. By the end of the week, they’ll gain a well-rounded understanding of what makes a theatre come to life—no stage fright required.
At the request of the Apollo Theater, TRANSPORTATION BY BCS IS MANDATORY FOR ALL STUDENTS. Parents/caregivers are NOT permitted to drop off or pick up students at the camp, however, you may drop off or pick up at one of the Transportation Hubs listed in the registration form, or one of the following locations:
- Berkeley Heights Elementary School
- Burke Street Elementary School
- Hedgesville High School
- Marlowe Elementary School
- Martinsburg North Middle School
- Mountain Ridge Intermediate School
- Musselman High School
