A note from Ms. Ballard
The nine weeks ended Thursday, October 17th. Report cards are coming home on Thursday, October 24th. Our award assembly will take place on Thursday, October 24th beginning at 2:00pm.
If you plan to attend this event, please enter through the walker gate in the back of the school. You will have to sign in and will have the option to sign out your student at the conclusion of the assembly.
Please understand not every student will be recognized. We have selected students for designated awards. We are proud of all students that show up and strive to do their best each day. Thank you for your understanding!
If your child is receiving an award, the classroom teacher will contact you.
Title I Tip
Complete homework or practice problems with the following supports in place:
- Quiet. Students need to be able to think deeply to learn. A noisey environment creates obstacles to concentration and create distractions to focusing on the problems at hand.
- Well-supplied. Have plenty of scratch paper, graph paper, pencils and erasers handy. Colored pencils are also useful.
- Well-lit. Make sure there is good lighting while reading and studying.
Attendance Matters
Check your child's planner and folder each night to check the attendance tracker.
Please aim to send your child to school each day. If your child is not sick, please send them to school.

Walkers
We understand that older siblings may need to walk our kiddos home. Please be sure your child's teacher is aware of this arrangement. We have a new form to be completed by parents/guardians of students that are walked home by siblings that are under 18 years of age. Once the teacher is made aware, we will send home the form.
