This Week at Stauffer

Hello Stauffer Families! Eighth graders will receive their hearing screening this week on Monday, Dec. 4th and their vision screening next week on Monday, Dec. 11th. It is imperative that we complete these screenings to support student health. Please make sure your students are present and on time so they do not miss their screening. Thank you Spartans!

Attention Spartans! Both math and reading iReady diagnostic tests must be complete by the end of this weekend. Any student that does not finish their diagnostic before Monday will be required to finish it during lunch next week.

Spartans, please make sure you bring your iPads to school everyday, charged and ready to use! We have seen an increase in students asking for iPad loaners. If a student is repeatedly requesting a loaner for unexcused reasons, they will be assigned Campus Beautification.

An essential element to having your student be successful in all of their classes each day is a CHARGED iPAD! Please have your students charge their iPads every single night to ensure they can participate in all of their classes.

Thank you!

All of our AVID students practice using "Focused Notes" not only in their AVID classes, but in every class! ALL STUDENTS can engage in focused note-taking to help them process and understand any notes from any class. See the graphic below to understand how to use The Focused Note-Taking Process.
