A Heartfelt Thank You! We’re so grateful to everyone who attended Parent-Teacher Conferences! Your dedication and involvement make such a difference. Together, we’re building a strong foundation for your child’s success, and it’s wonderful to have you as part of our team.
As we wrap up the first quarter, we’re filled with pride for all that’s been accomplished so far. From classroom achievements to personal growth, there is so much to celebrate!
With winter approaching, please remember to dress students warmly. Layers are ideal as they can adjust to the day’s weather. We’ll continue enjoying fresh air during walking club and recess whenever temperatures stay above 15 degrees. Your support in keeping everyone comfortable and cozy is greatly appreciated!

The Bright Side
Happy November! I just love this month because it reminds us to be thankful for all the good things in our lives. Dr. Lee Warren, a local Neurosurgeon, spoke with the NPPSD staff a couple years ago about the power of positivity on the brain and our emotional well-being.
There is beauty and power in training our brains to look on “the bright side.” Some may scoff but it’s actually tough work to train our brains to look for the positives when life is hard or we’re disappointed. BUT, when we do this and learn to practice this, life gets a whole lot brighter! This is a great tool to practice and teach your kiddos. Let them see you do this and they’ll learn from you. Have a wonderful month, Washington Ohana! I’m thankful for our staff, students, and families. We have the BEST!
