GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Welcome from Mrs. Morris, Career Learning Principal
Welcome back to a new school year! I am excited to kick off another year of hands-on learning, career exploration, and skill-building through our CTE programs.
This year, I am thrilled to introduce two new pathways, Animal Science and Culinary Arts, giving students even more opportunities to explore their interests and prepare for future careers.
I am also excited to introduce our new CTE support staff and teachers - Heather Fannin, Kristie Fetty, Sarah Kidd, Sara Mazur, Dawn Morton, Shayna Pothast & Taylor Stanley!
To start the year strong, here are a few tips for success in CTE:
* Stay engaged and ask questions in class.
* Attend CTSO meetings and Skill Builder Tuesday Sessions.
* Make a plan to log your WBL hours in PortfoliOH.
* Collaborate with peers and learn from industry partners.
* Set personal goals and reflect regularly on your growth.
I can’t wait to see all the amazing things our students accomplish in CTE this year!

PortfoliOH is your digital space to track all your Work-Based Learning experiences, like internships, job shadows, community service and school projects. Upload photos, reflections, and other evidence to show what you’ve learned.
As you log hours and complete milestones, you can see your progress and growth over time. It’s a fun and motivating way to build a portfolio you can be proud of, perfect for college applications, job resumes, and future opportunities.
Talk to your CTE teachers to set up your PortfoliOH account and start tracking your experiences!
