Dear Signal Hill Families,

What a memorable first week of school! As we welcomed our Dinos back to campus, we also officially kicked off the next 100 years of Signal Hill Elementary. Established in 1926, our school has a proud history, and I am incredibly excited about all that lies ahead during this special Centennial Year.

Our theme, “Better Together, Reaching New Heights,” was already visible throughout our first week—in the smiles at arrival, the relationships being built in classrooms, the kindness shown on the playground, and the dedication of our staff as they helped students learn new routines and feel welcomed, safe, and connected.

This year, we will continue to focus on what matters most: high-quality learning, strong relationships, safe and welcoming classrooms, and ensuring every Dino feels known, supported, and challenged to grow. We know that none of this happens without our families. Your partnership, encouragement, and trust are an important part of our success.

Thank you for helping us begin our next century with so much Dino Pride. After 100 years of learning and growing together, our best days are still ahead of us!

• Current TB test (within last 60 days) AND valid CA DL with clear photo
• If uploaded Government Issued ID (CA DL) and home address on the VIPS application do not match, please provide any of the following to verify your address: Voter's
• Registration, paystub (last 30 days), utility bill (no cellular, cable or bank statement)
