Weekly Message

Good Afternoon!

This time of year life can start to feel a bit like a whirlwind. Between finishing projects and looking forward to summer, it’s easy for students (and grown-ups!) to feel a little overwhelmed or anxious.

To help us navigate this busy season, we are encouraging our students to focus on three simple words: Slow. Small. Daily.

  • Slow: Take a breath before reacting.

  • Small: Focus on one task, moment at a time.

  • Daily: Do your best for today and do a little bit better than yesterday.

When we give our full attention to the moment we are in, the big goals take care of themselves. We are so proud of the progress your children have made this year. Let’s finish strong—and calm—together!

Have a great weekend.

Mike

2. Charge it!

3. Bring it to school for an UPDATE!

* If you don't have a DCS Chromebook, you will need to obtain a loaner from the library.

From Dublin PD: New Bicycle Codes

Dublin: New bicycle rules and new code from the City, passed April 10.

“One key element of the new code is that mini-motorcycles are not permitted anywhere in Dublin, including the shared use paths, sidewalks, roadways or in parks. An example of this type of device is shown in the image below taken at Karrer Middle School recently. We are hoping that this message can be shared with families at the schools and the principals can reinforce this message for us.”
