Below you'll find fundraising information, and a look ahead at what’s coming up.

This upcoming October 7th is our next early dismissal. The Holy Family HSA is going to cover the duties for CARES from 11:30 to 5pm to ease the burden on the families.

We will have some homework time, some games, and possibly show a movie. We will keep your kids learning and having fun!

Please have your child pack a lunch as we will have a snack around 3, but will NOT be supplying lunch.

Cost

The rate will be the standard CARES rate per hour.

Time

You can sign up for pick up at 2:30, 3:30 or 5. AND if you are a Chichester family, the buses will run on this day at the standard 2:35 dismissal time. So, your child can sign up for CARES from 11:30 to 2:30 and then they can ride the bus home like it is a normal day.

If you have any questions, or would like to sign up to volunteer please send HSA an email at HSA@holyfamilyaston.org. Children of volunteers participate for free this half day and 1 future HSA covered half day.

You will need your clearances to volunteer.

🎉 Jumbo Jackpot is half way through, and so far we've raised almost $8,000 toward our school-wide goal. Donations end October 19th. Help us reach our 25k goal!

Don’t miss the big reveal—the winner will be announced Friday, October 23rd, at Trunk or Treat!

We have two upcoming dine-in/out nights to help raise funds for our production of Elf Jr.

Tickets are $12 each

We have reserved 2 wagons for 6:30 & 6:45.

Wagons will be first come first serve, and are limited to 40 participants—so don’t wait!

✅ Donate candy — drop-off bins available in school through October 21st. Families who donate one regular-sized bag and one nut-free bag will also earn a dress-down day!

✅ Sign up to host a trunk — bring your creativity and Halloween spirit! Register here no later than 11am the day of event, October 23rd; No occult themes will be accepted.

🍕 Pizza Delivered to Your Trunk!

Add a pizza option for your family during the event! Pizza will be delivered directly to your trunk so you can enjoy dinner while you decorate and celebrate. Register here by October 19th if you'd like pizza for your trunk.

Now’s the perfect time to complete your clearances so you’re ready to jump in and help with all the amazing events and activities that make our Holy Family community shine!

Whether it’s volunteering at school events, chaperoning field trips, or lending a hand in the classroom—your involvement makes a big difference. 💙

Here are the links for each of the items needed:

👉 Review the requirements to get started.
👉 Enroll in the VIRTUS class.
👉 Request a volunteer criminal background check.
👉 Request a child abuse clearance.
👉 Get certified online as a mandated reporter.

Once completed, clearances last for 5 years.
