A Few Friendly Reminders
Dismissal Changes
Email changes to CPEStransportation@tomballisd.net.
Notify your child’s teacher in writing by 2:00 p.m. of any dismissal changes.
Attendance
Submit a doctor’s or parent note within 3 days of your child’s return to excuse an absence.
Without a note, the absence remains unexcused. After 3 unexcused absences, the district is required by law to issue an Excessive Absence Letter.
Email attendance notes to our registrar, Luz Muston.

As a reminder, students should not be dropped off until a club sponsor is present to supervise them. Our front office staff does not arrive until 8:00 AM, so please plan accordingly.

Lunch Visits
Lunch is part of the instructional day, and each lunch period is 30 minutes. Due to our growing enrollment and limited cafeteria space, please follow these guidelines for lunch visits:
- Lunch visits are limited to twice per week.
- Visitors may stay only during their child’s 30-minute lunch period.
- Parents must use the designated tables on the stage.
- A maximum of two visitors per student is allowed.
- Please do not photograph or record other students.
- Visitors must bring a driver’s license to check in and be listed as an emergency contact.
Thank you for helping us keep lunch visits safe, enjoyable, and on schedule for everyone!
Important Announcement
Due to our 4th-grade Panorama and class pictures for the 2026–2027 school year, we will not have lunch visitors on Wednesday, November 18, as students will be using the cafeteria stage.
Celebrating Student Birthdays
Our students are very important to us, and we love celebrating their special days! To help keep everyone safe, birthday treats must be store-bought and sealed in the original packaging. Individually packaged or wrapped treats are preferred.
Another option is an ice cream pass, available for purchase through the school cafeteria. Parents must complete the form a few days before the birthday.
