*Please note that GHS students will only receive a report card at the end of each semester, however progress reports will be available from teachers at conferences and parents can evaluate progress on Infinite Campus.*

Here's a quick updated from Monday evening's Board of Education meeting:

Board of Education Meeting Update

• Geil Elementary shared a presentation highlighting student learning and school initiatives the MTSS process and how instruction and interventions are used to meet the academic needs of individual students.

• The Board approved a negotiated agreement with the Gering Education Association (GEA) for certified staff for the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 school years.

• Both the Board of Education and GEA expressed appreciation for the collaborative and respectful negotiation process that led to the two-year agreement.

Please plan to attend the Spring Sports Meeting as we share important information about alternative track practice plans for this season.

Gering Public Schools is excited to help families and students prepare for the next step in their educational journey! We have two special evenings planned for families this spring where students and families can thoughtfully explore their next schools, meet staff, and learn about all the opportunities ahead.
