The Bulldog Briefs November 1, 2024

Walker Community,

Wow! The school year sure is flying by. November is a busy month. Please make sure to read through all the communications and reach out with any questions.

The weather is turning, please make sure students are dressed appropriately for colder and rainy weather. We will be outside for recess with the feel like temperatures are 25 degrees and above.

Also, there as been a lot of illness traveling around our school. Please make sure Chromebooks are cleaned regularly at home. Please read over the nurse notes carefully as there is some very useful information.

Just a reminder that our school office is open from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Social Emotional Learning at Walker

This week during SEL time, students took the SAEBRS assessment. This helps the social worker anticipate academic, social, and behavioral challenges. We use this information to help meet the needs of students. We will complete the SAEBRS again later in the year to see how students grow and understand how their needs change.

Mr. Birden is thrilled to work with your children! Please do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything! pbirden@sd104.us
