Hello Navigators,

This past week I was inspired as I saw our students engaging in classroom lessons and building their knowledge and skills. Our first flag salute was a huge success as we watched student leaders take a greater role in the event. The week ended with our amazing PTO's Apple Pie making event.

On Wednesday we will hold out first School Site Council meeting. This meeting will be to select Council Officers and to explain to the council the role and responsibilities. You do not need to be a member to attend. We will meet at 7:45 AM.

We know there are times when issues come up that need to be resolved. OUSD has created a chain of communication that allows for an efficient resolution process. This is now located on our school’s website under “Our School” called Chain of Communication.
