Dear Bobcat Families,

As we wrap up the month of September, I want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible work happening across our campus. Our students and staff have shown tremendous dedication and effort, and it’s paying off.

I’m especially proud of our excellent attendance over the first two months of school. Strong attendance means students are engaged and ready to learn, and we are seeing that reflected in the positive momentum in classrooms. Thank you to our families for supporting this important part of student success.

September also brought great energy and success to our athletics programs. From the hard work of our student-athletes to the dedication of our coaches and the enthusiasm of our fans, it has been a joy to see Bobcat pride shining brightly.

Looking ahead, we are excited for Homecoming and the opportunities the rest of the fall semester will bring. Together, we are building a strong school culture focused on growth, achievement, and community.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Let’s keep up the great work as we move forward!

With pride,

Ms. Codi Montes-Dennis

Parent Meeting Recap Parent Meeting Recap

We hosted a secondary Parent Meeting on 9/24 at 6pm in the HS Commons. This is the first of 4 planned for the year. Though attendance was light, we hope to build on this for future meetings. We welcome parents of all secondary students to attend.

We discussed the following items -

  • Attendance and Enrollment Data
  • Cell Phone Policy data
  • GO Bond information
  • New School Updates

Questions/Concerns that came from parent comments-

  • Can the cell phone policy be relaxed to allow students to take video/pictures of things like the Systems Go rocket launches, etc?
  • Can a Band App be created for the grade levels to communicate directly with parents about key dates/issues for those students - ie Sr Parents being informed on important dates/times, etc
  • The end of the 1st 9 weeks is too late for Parent Teacher conferences if students are having grade issues - can they be held earlier at the secondary level, week 5 or 6 when students can possibly fix their grades?

The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 10th at 6pm. We hope to see you there!
