Family Update
Davis Middle School
November 14, 2025
Happy Friday, Davis Families!
Today I wanted to share one of our 6th grade student's submission in English class when they were working on informational body paragraph writing practice. Their teacher shared it with the staff today and I thought you should see it too. Our staff at Davis is pretty special. I get to see it every day, but please know that they are super dedicated and truly care about each one of our students. This writing submission shows that the students are feeling this as well. Thank you for sharing your students with us!!
Davis Middle School has plenty of amazing qualities, but my favorite is the teachers. I love the teachers because they help you get your work done without giving you all the answers. Also, the teachers are very supportive and understanding. They will help you if you are sad, and encourage you to keep going. Another reason is because they all have a positive attitude, and greet you in the hallways. Lastly, the teachers are setting you up for success, and are pushing you to be the best version of yourself. The teachers are all so great at Davis, and that is one of my favorite qualities about this school.
Have a great weekend!
Go Irish!
Jaime

Third Party Food Deliveries Reminder
As a reminder, third party food deliveries (Door Dash, Grub Hub, etc) should not be being sent to students at school. For a variety of reasons, but specifically for safety and the disruption it causes for the folks in the main office having to accept and arrange for students to receive the deliveries. We will have to turn the deliveries away moving forward. As always, you are welcome to personally drop lunches and items off for your students. There is a QR code to scan and alert us of the delivery. You can then leave the delivery on the shelf.

Pay to Participate Winter Sports Fees
This Winter Sports season, the district has slightly changed the way sports fees are assigned and accessed by parents. Starting now, all sports fees will be directly assigned to your athlete in their Infinite Campus account. There you will see the sports fees assigned and how much they are, along with your other student fees. Parents will still go to PaySchools to pay online, but you will no longer have to search for the fees as you have in the past. It will appear directly on your Payschools account. Pay your fee, and you are all set! Those who participate in the Free or Reduced Lunch programs will have their bills adjusted prior to or shortly after the fee has been paid. This is still a "work in progress."
