π Gratitude and Reflection
Clubs, clubs everywhere!
Going forward, we will determine all club participation through a random selection after sign-up. The reason for this is that clubs are in high demand and we are hoping to cut back on inequities that result from sign-up availability when the information is first released.
Additionally, please note that there is some overlap for clubs. We try to avoid that, but there are only so many days in a week :) For example, French theater is on Mondays, which overlaps with a few of the 2 day clubs. So if your student is already in French Theater, they may have to wait for the Spring to do a smaller club.
Grades K - 2 on Wednesdays 2:30 - 3:30 room 19
(10/27 and 11/10 on Tuesday)
Book Nook: Grades 4 and 5 (Mondays) October 19 and November 2: 2:30 to 3:30 in the Library
Game rom: Grades 4 -5 (Mondays) November 9 and 16: 2:30 to 3:30 in the Library
Battle of the Books: Grades 3 - 4: Tuesdays 2:30 - 3:30 in the Library
Grade 5: Tuesdays 2:30 - 3:30 in room 15
Trunk or Treat and Jog-a-thon
Thank you to everyone who came out to support the O'Malley community in a fun afternoon! From the parents to the fire department, the vendors and the candy donors, we had a very successful turn-out!
I also want to thank Noella Richardson for organizing it, and Colleen Mead, our AA, for putting in extra time to make sure everything went smoothly. Thank you for all the hard work everyone!
AAANNNDDD can we have a drum-roll please?
The jog-a-thon raised a whopping $53,959! π₯³πIndividual prize winner highlights will be published next weeks WNW.

Reflection
Dear O'Malley Elementary Families,
I hope you are taking time to enjoy the sun breaks, the snow fall, the falling leaves, and the beauty that is all around us. Before any of us know it, the new year will be here. So in the sprint from here to there, I hope you all find the time to breath, share laughter, and be good to yourselves.
