Our largest fundraiser of the year kicked off Wednesday! Get your kids registered and start asking friends, family, coaches, or anyone you know to help support the school and PTSA. The money raised through this fundraiser helps us provide bussing for school field trips, put on school community building events like Trunk or Treat, show appreciation to our WMS teachers with stocking the teacher's lounge, giving additional stipends for classroom support and more.

JUNIOR RAIDERS FOOTBALL
Hello my name is Mark Veth and I am the president of the Wauwatosa East Junior Raiders tackle football program.
If your child likes football and would like to play in high school, specifically at Wauwatosa East, this would be a great chance to get some experience and develop towards that goal. This link will take you to the registration page for the Junior Raiders:
https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/420316
There are no cuts for the Junior Raiders Football, so if you register your child they will be placed on a roster. We are looking to have everyone registered by Friday May 24th.
The season starts with practice the first week of August and goes through the middle of October. We will play 7 games, and our home games will be at the field adjacent to Tosa East. Our practices will be held either at the same field or Longfellow Elementary. We play in the CYFL (Classic Youth Football League) which includes teams from Burlington, Catholic Memorial, Marquette University High School, South Milwaukee, Watertown, Waukesha West, Nathan Hale, and Wisconsin Lutheran.
Cost for the season is $325, and we will provide the Helmets, Shoulder Pads and Uniforms.
If you have any questions, please call me at (414) 520-8687, email me at tosaeastjuniorraidersfootball@gmail.com, or message me through Team Snap once registered.
PLEASE RETURN LIBRARY BOOKS BY MAY 31ST - THANK YOU!
Please enjoy this Library Choice Board celebrating May the Fourth be with you, Cinco de Mayo and Children's Book Week. Please note some games may be blocked in school, but can be played at home. You can find it on Classlink: Tosa Schools Libraries site or by the links below. Enjoy!
GARDEN HELP
If you have any interest in helping with our raised garden beds, we are looking for a few bags of miracle grow garden soil donated, currently on sale at Lowe's! Simply leave them outside of the school by the building under the overhang and we will be sure to get them to the proper place.
Thank you in advance.
STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM
My name is Jen Jacobs, mom to Olivia in 5K and Preston in 5th. I also am the co-editor of the Oak Tree Oracle, our student-led newsletter. Hopefully you all have been enjoying the “news” from the classrooms! Up until now, the newsletter has been run completely by students in Mrs. Namboothiry’s upper elementary class but I am so excited to be adding student reporters from Ms. Emily’s class as well! They will have a special section featuring student achievements outside the classroom. For example, do you have a child that sings? Plays the drums? Is a karate black belt? Dancer? Theater performer? We want to hear about it and celebrate them! If you and your child are okay with them being featured in the newsletter, please email the Oak Tree Oracle with the student and a picture if available of them doing it is what they do so our student reporters can interview them. And if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me as well.
Email photos and blurbs to both Preston and Ms. Pallin:
jacobspr2031@wauwatosa.k12.wi.us
By sending an email with a photo you are also giving permission for the photo to be shared.
