Next Friday is our next A-OK (Act of Kindness) event as we partner again with International Disaster Emergency Service for a meal-packing outreach, so we’re pausing Colossians for two weeks. As we prepare, here’s the simple truth: God doesn’t ask us to do everything—He asks us to be available. Like the little boy who offered Jesus his 'lunchable' and watched Him feed thousands, what seems small in our hands becomes more than enough in His. God’s math is simple: Our availability × God = exceedingly more than we ask or imagine. Our part is to show up—open, willing, and obedient. His part is the multiplication.

Family Discussion Questions:

  1. What is one small thing we can offer God this week—our time, attention, or service?

  2. Where do we need to stop waiting until we feel “ready” and simply show up?

This week, we are focusing our prayers on the hearts and habits of our students. Our goal is to see them grow not just in knowledge, but in Christ-like character.

Please join us in praying for:

  • A Teachable Spirit: That students would have a humble willingness to learn from their teachers, mentors, and peers.

  • Respect for Leadership: For a deep appreciation of the time, prayer, and preparation their teachers pour into every lesson.

  • Diligence & Integrity: That they would be steadfast in their studies, remaining focused and honest in all their work.

  • A Higher Purpose: That they would adopt the mindset of Colossians 3:23—working with all their heart, as if they are working directly for the Lord.

  • Impactful Leadership: That they would lead their friends and classmates in a way that points others toward Christ—using their words and actions to reflect His love and grace.

"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." — Matthew 5:16
