As we move into colder weather, we want to remind you about our policy regarding outdoor play and safety. For the comfort and well-being of our students, children will remain inside during the following weather conditions:
- Rain
- Temperature below 20°F
- Wind chill of 10°F or below
- Icy conditions
- Extremely high winds
Please make sure your child is dressed warmly with a coat, hat, gloves, and other appropriate layers to ensure they stay comfortable and safe. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep all children safe and prepared for the elements.
Student Food Accounts
Breakfast/Lunch Funds can be added to your child's food account online via Skyward Family Access. Exact cash or check are accepted in the school office.
2025/2026 Fee's
Breakfast $ 1.85 per day
Lunch $3.75 per day
Milk Only $.050
Free/Reduced Lunch Applications are available online via Skyward Family Access.

Illinois State Law Regulations - E-Bike/E-Scooters
As the gift-giving season approaches, the Flossmoor Police Department would like to share with families what the current state laws are regarding e-bikes and e-scooters. While growing in popularity and affordability, there are safety concerns with these devices and, therefore, limitations set by the state of Illinois. The current state law restricts Class 3 e-bikes to users ages 16+ and all low-speed e-scooters (those that can reach a speed of 10 MPH) to users ages 18+. All types of e-bikes are prohibited from use on sidewalks, according to Illinois state law. See more details on the current state regulations in the graphic shown.
Parent / Guardian Experience Surveys
As part of our commitment to providing continuous service excellence to our families and our community, we are conducting a survey in partnership with Studer Education. Your feedback will help us determine what is working well in your child’s school and any areas that may need improvement.
The survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. We encourage you to complete it in one sitting, as your responses will be saved once you click submit. The survey will ask you to select your child’s school, and you can complete a separate survey for each of the schools your children attend.
