Celebrating an Amazing First Quarter!
What an incredible start to the school year at Lincoln! As we wrap up our first quarter, we have so much to celebrate, and we couldn't be more grateful for the students, staff, and families who make our campus such a special place!
One of our greatest celebrations has been the tremendous growth in family engagement! Every single family engagement event this quarter has broken a Lincoln attendance record! During our Bring Your Parent to PE Week, an amazing 40.4% of our students had a family member attend, a 7% increase over last year! These numbers represent more than participation. They reflect the strong partnerships we are building between home and school. To our Lincoln families, THANK YOU! We know your time is valuable, and we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to partner with you in your child's education. Your presence and involvement truly make a difference!
We are also excited to share that we are meeting our campus attendance goal of 95% or higher for both students and staff! Our student attendance is currently 95.2%, and our staff attendance is at 97%! As we head into cold and flu season, we need your help keeping our Lincoln community healthy. Please remind your children to wash their hands frequently, cover their mouths when coughing or sneezing, and stay home when they have a fever. Together, we can minimize the spread of germs and keep our students healthy and learning!
Academically, we are seeing encouraging progress on district assessments, including improvements in student performance and progress toward closing achievement gaps among student groups. We are proud of the hard work our students and teachers are putting in each day!
Overall, it has been an outstanding first quarter, and we are excited about what's ahead! Thank you, Lincoln families, for showing up, supporting our students, and helping make our campus a place where everyone can thrive. We look forward to continuing this momentum and making the second quarter even better!
