School Readiness Invite
2026-27
School Readiness Registration is Now Open...
All children who will be at least 4 years of age on September 1 of this year are eligible for this program. Children with identified developmental delays and Early Childhood Special Education Services will also be integrated within this program. Complete the online registration ASAP to hold your child's spot.
Our instructors and assistants will provide developmentally appropriate instructional activities and coordinate other resources available for students and families. Our goal is to help get your child ready for kindergarten.
Parent participation is an important part of our School Readiness Program. Please be as involved as possible with your child’s education. There will be opportunities during the year for you to be a part of your child’s education or chaperone a field trip. The first opportunity to visit the school will be in August at our open house.
School Readiness Schedule
Enrolled children will attend four half-day sessions each week, Monday-Thursday, at Watkins Elementary School. Morning sessions are 8:10-10:40 AM and afternoon sessions are 12:10-2:40 PM, as scheduled during the school year. Children will be assigned to a session.
Lil' Eagles Child Care

-Children that ride the bus to school for the morning session or ride the bus home from the afternoon session will not be charged a fee for riding the regular school bus route. Only students who use Mid-day transportation will be charged.
*We cannot guarantee that midday route transportation will be provided for all students in the School Readiness program. Students in the ECSE program and students with the highest needs are given the priority. We will do what we can to accommodate as many students as possible, but these arrangements are subject to change and can only be made after the bus routes are completed in late August.

Scholarships
Applications for Parent Aware Scholarships will be provided to families in August. Any family that qualifies for free/reduced lunches or similar programs are eligible for these scholarships. Students that will be 5 years old by September 1 are not eligible for the scholarships, but the tuition and fees will be waived if the family qualifies.
How Billing Works?
At the beginning of each quarter you will receive a bill for tuition/fees due. The invoice will also serve as your receipt for tax purposes. Payments at that time can be paid through the school pay website, sent in with your child to school or mailed to the school address on invoice.
*First quarter payment will be due before the first day of school. Open House would be a good time to make that first payment.
Early Childhood Screening
Here at EV-W, we prefer students to have Early Childhood Screening completed before attending School Readiness or right when first starting school. Please contact Amanda Meierhofer, Screening Coordinator, 453-2900 ext. 3116 if you need to schedule a screening appointment. Our next screening day will be in September.
