Superintendent Weekly Update November 12th, 2023

Volume 3/Issue 13 - November 12th, 2023

Thanksgiving break and winter activities are right around the corner! We are very fortunate to have the many opportunities for our students but it is also important to remember time management. It is one of the toughest things to try and prioritize but we are all in it together!

Message for the Week: Message for the Week:

    Message from Mr. Tejkl

    What you do matters...

    Good afternoon!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend and it continues all the way through the week! We couldn't have asked for better weather so I hope you were able to take advantage of it.

We had the opportunity to celebrate our veteran's at the school as well as around the Nation on Friday and Saturday. Every day is an opportunity to celebrate but as one, we can recognize what our veterans did and continue to do for us. Talking with many veterans Friday and previously, the pride becomes overflowing because of the stories and what it meant to them to serve. It is one of the greatest feelings.

One of the messages that stuck with me is to be grateful for each day you have. We can lose sight of the great things that we have in our lives. Although it may not be perfect, we are fortunate to wake up free and with many given rights because of our veterans. To honor them, don't waste your day. Be grateful for being able to step out of bed and enter into a new day. Many don't have that opportunity each day.

Have a great rest of your Sunday and I will see you tomorrow!

Quote of the week to reflect on:

"We forget that waking up every day is the first thing we should be grateful for."

    Sincerely,

    Tucker Tejkl
