The Family Support Centers (FSC) offer English classes, parent workshops, and information on other services, and they are open to all. Click this LINK to find out what's going on at the FSC nearest to you!
If you're interested in learning English but can't make it to a center for in-person classes, check out our schedule of virtual classes!
The Central Family Support Center does all of this, plus newcomer support, pediatric health services, CCSD registration and application support, and special events such as vaccine clinics, workshops, and more. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile is BACK!
The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile is fully staffed with dentists and assistants and offers full dental services to children of all ages (0-21), with or without dental insurance coverage.

The 2027–2028 School Choice application will become available on Monday, October 5, 2026. The deadline to submit the CCSD School Choice application is Tuesday, January 12, 2027, at 3:00 p.m.

FREE FOOD every Wednesday! The Center partners with Three Square to provide food distribution to those in need every Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Don't forget to bring your reusable bags!

Join Nevada Partners and Three Square for a FREE FOOD distribution on the second Thursday of every month at 11:00 a.m.! Their Lake Mead location is right off the 15, just past D St.

For Elementary and Middle School Students
Does your elementary or middle schooler need a little extra help with their homework? Check out the CCSD Academic Support and Community Service Center! They offer licensed teachers who can provide assistance with math, reading, writing, science, and social studies. No appointment is required, and they're open Monday through Friday during the school year!

For High School Students
The CCSD Academic Support and Community Service Center offers academic assistance for high school students Monday through Friday during the academic year. They have licensed teachers on staff! No appointment is required, so if your high schooler needs help with science, algebra I or II, geometry, pre-calculus, or end of semester tests, head down! They even offer prep courses for the ACT and SAT.

The Dolores Huerta Resource Center offers a variety of programs and resources to support families!
