Weekly Communication
Greetings PV Families,
I hope this newsletter find you well. The fall weather has definitely made an appearance! Thankfully, the forecast includes a return of the sun by the end of the week. Of course, the weather we are experiencing from Hurricane Ian is nothing like what others have experienced. Our thoughts are with those in Florida and along the eastern seaboard.
PV IS HIRING! Thursday, October 6, PV is hosting a HIRING EVENT at the PV High School Cafeteria from 4:00pm-7:00pm. There are positions available within the Perkiomen Valley School District as well as with our transportation partner, STA (Student Transportation of America). We invite you to help us SPREAD THE WORD about this event! Here is a link to the HIRING EVENT flyer for ease of sharing.
Finally, as a reminder, in observance of the holiday, there will be no school for staff or students tomorrow. Thank you, as always, for your partnership.

PVHS PSAT & Asynchronous Day
PSATs will be offered Wednesday, October 12, 2022 for 10th and 11th graders. This will be an asynchronous day for non-test takers. For test takers, transportation will be provided and lunch will be available for purchase. For details, visit Dr. Moss's High Lites.
Holiday Shop & Power Packs!
We are excited to announce we will be running the Holiday Shop again this year for families in need of assistance for the winter holidays. Last year we provided gifts to over 100 PV students and hope to do even more this year! We are kicking off this event with a collection at the Homecoming Football game on October 14th. We will be at the gates with bins for you to drop off NEW unwrapped toys and gift items (suggested value of $10 or more). Check out our Amazon wish list for ideas: https://tinyurl.com/powerpackshs
Not coming to the game but still want to donate? Superintendent Roundtables
Do you have thoughts on a school-related topic or two? Would you like to engage with the superintendent about your child's school experience? If so, please feel free to attend any one or more of this year's Superintendent Roundtables held at the PV High School Library. These meetings are open to the public and will focus on certain topics while also affording attendees open time to share their questions and comments about any topic.
Beverages and lite desserts will be provided.

Roundtable #2 - January 11 from 6:30-8:00pm - Transitions: Elementary to Middle and Middle to High
