Rincon Community News #4
September 1, 2025
Principal Weekly Message
Greetings Rincon Community,
Our first full week back and our campus was buzzing with excitement for this year. On Tuesday, the EXPlore After School Enrichment RUSH event was held in the MPR. This year there are over nineteen after school class offerings. Student learned more about all the classes and tried some activities firsthand. Make sure to review the information sent home or click on the interest form.
Class Schedule Changes
Enrollment is strong this year at Rincon. In fact, we've exceeded our projections and had to make some necessary changes this past week. Due to the increase in enrollment, an additional teacher will be hired to alleviate the overcrowded explore classes. In the meantime, a guest teacher will begin on Tuesday, September 2nd.
The changes included the addition two Explore Enrichment Wheel classes and four Personalized Learning classes for math. The PL math class is intended to support learners that are two or more grade levels below in math. In addition, it was necessary to add Advanced Math sections based on recent scores. Therefore, two additional sections of Advanced Math were added to our schedule in order to deepen math concepts and extend learning for our those performing at advanced levels.
Our goal is to focus on meeting the needs of our learners and provide high quality rigorous instruction for all students. We will build from where our learners are and expect all learners to grow this this year.
Any schedules not picked-up on Friday will be provided by advisory teachers on Tuesday.
Together we are better in setting up our Bulldogs up to B.A.R.K (Believe, Achieve, Respect, and Kindness) for success!
With gratitude,
Principal Meglich

Our goal to partner with our families for learners success and want to bring dinner options to campus for you. A bonus. is that a percentage of the sales will be donated to our ASB and PTSA.
