Our Toys For Tots collection bin has been dropped off to RPMS. Please be a part of this worthwhile event and help put smiles on young faces who may only have this opportunity for a happy holiday.

This Wednesday, STATS (Straight Talk About Tough Stuff) will be at RPMS. STATS will discuss topics of healthy friendships. This will be presented by skits, Q&A’s and interactive activities. Among these topics will include: How to detect healthy vs. unhealthy friendships, how to be kind to peers, and refusal skills.

If you would like to continue these conversations with your student, we encourage you to make sure they are aware of how to say no to peer pressure by refusing, changing the subject, informing peers of dangers, and leaving the dangerous situation.

This week, we'll shift our focus from "teamwork" to "personal responsibility." We'll teach students the importance of owning their thoughts, words, and actions. Students that were nominated for exemplifying teamwork will be recognized at our assembly on Friday.

Responsibility is the willingness and ability to take ownership of our thoughts, words, and actions. We have a responsibility to our school, family, and community to be accountable for our choices and how they impact ourselves and others.

Did you know there is a RP community pantry serving those in need? The pantry is located at Reeths-Puffer Intermediate and is run by Stacy Hovorka, RP Parent Liaison. The pantry provides food, toiletries, cleaning supplies and clothing to RP families. If you or anyone you know can use this resource, please contact Stacy directly at hovorkas@reeths-puffer.org.

Homework Workshop is a free service that works to support students and get ahead of missing assignments and failing grades by providing a quiet place to work, in addition to access to free tutors/teachers and opportunities to collaborate with peers to learn collaboratively. The learning environment is a supervised and supportive atmosphere where students feel safe and confident to receive the support needed to excel in the classroom. It is held Tuesday, Wednesday , and Thursday from 2:45-4:00 in the LMC. Students are signed up by teachers or the Tier II team. If parents wish to sign their students up they may email Mrs Grant at granta@reeths-puffer.org.

Students have the opportunity to take advantage of our after school program known as RP+ weekly, Monday - Thursday. Click HERE to learn more about the program and the access the registration link. Parents must register students at least 24 hours prior to attending.

Additional information regarding after school clubs will be added here as they become available to students. Contact the main office for more details.

Academic Eligibility:

Parents and student-athletes: a grade report will be collected and submitted to coaches for any student-athlete who is under a C- in any class. This process will take place weekly throughout each season. Please ensure that you are competing in the classroom and on the playing surface.
