Tell us about your family
I have two adult children, and I think the world of them. My daughter is married to Kelly Preston’s brother. She likes to say that she set them up, but nothing goes past this Momma Bear! Both families have a lot of fun together during the holidays. Ross and Amanda have blessed me with two grandchildren, and I have a blast with them! My son is living my dream up north in the UP (Marquette), enjoying the outdoors to the fullest. We go as often as we can when the weather permits. The last snowfall dropped 18 inches, so we canceled our trip.
What is something that makes you really proud?
What I am most proud of is my family—the people we have become, the lives we continue to build, and all the joy we find in one another.
What is your favorite hobby?
I have so many hobbies, but gardening is a lifelong passion with deep roots (pun intended). As a little girl, planting summer gardens with my grandmother provided lasting memories and continued interest. I presently maintain three park gardens for my community to enjoy.
What is your favorite food?
Italian food is hands down my favorite! I enjoy not only cooking it, but also meeting up with my cousins yearly to crank up my uncle’s old sausage machine to make Italian sausage, this year we cranked out three hundred pounds! The kitchen turns into pure chaos, but the memories are worth it!
What is something you have learned lately?
I have learned that leaning on others is not weak; it’s how we last!
If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
If I were an animal, I would be a horse. They are strong yet gentle, free-spirited but loyal.
What is your favorite thing about Prairie Grove?
Prairie Grove has given me lasting friendships. Thank you!

What is your favorite hobby?
I love reading, traveling, and going on walks with my dog.
What is your favorite food?
My favorite foods are tacos or quesadillas.
What is something you have learned lately?
Something I learned lately is getting at least 8 hours of sleep every night really does make a big difference.
If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
I would be a dog because they get to run around all day and have a lot of energy.
What is your favorite thing about Prairie Grove?
My favorite thing about Prairie Grove is the amount of support we get from the community. I also love our 6th grade team, they are always there to support one another.
