Week of 4/4/26

Dr. Haddock's Communication
Partnering for Success: Respecting Teacher Time
Strong communication between home and school is the foundation of student success. To ensure teachers can give your concerns the focused attention they deserve, we ask that families please schedule a specific time for conversations, phone calls, or meetings rather than stopping by during instruction or dismissal.
Teachers often have busy schedules—planning lessons, supporting students, and attending meetings—outside of classroom hours. By emailing to schedule an appointment, you allow them to prepare for a productive discussion about your child, ensuring their time (and yours) is respected.
- Email is best: Send a quick note to initiate a conversation.
- Be specific: Briefly outline what you'd like to discuss so they can gather necessary info.
- Give lead time: Request meetings at least 24–48 hours in advance.
Thank you for being a respectful partner in your child's education!

Your voice shapes our guiding principles — take our 2-minute survey
Aurora Quest is refreshing the guiding principles for next school year that define who we are as a school community. Our staff and students have already cast their votes and now it's the community's turn. We're asking just a few quick questions: which values matter most to you, what words capture what Aurora Quest stands for, and which guiding principles selected by staff and students resonate with you most. Your responses will directly shape the guiding principles we carry into next year together.
