Principal's Message
Greetings, dear families!
The day we have been preparing for is finally here; I want to welcome our students and parents warmly. It's a significant day, especially for children attending school for the first time. Remember to ensure your little ones a good night's sleep so they're ready to embrace the exciting day ahead.
It's perfectly normal if some children feel a bit teary or sad—it's a big step for them. Please understand that these emotions are a part of the process. I can also tell you that as a parent, it does not get easy to let our kids go, so if this is your first time sending your child to school, you may also experience different emotions. If possible, reassure your child that a school is a good place and that they will enjoy their educational journey.
To lighten the mood and create a sense of excitement, I am sharing again my family tradition of "jitter juice". It's a fun way to ease jitters and start the day smiling. For sure, they will do it for me tonight. Please see the video after this message to access the read-aloud.
I kindly ask each family to review the arrival and dismissal plan thoroughly. A clear understanding of these procedures is vital for everyone's safety.
During the initial days, anticipate delays as everyone gets accustomed to new routines. Patience will be essential as we work to ensure a smooth start to the school year.
Please use the provided feedback form if you need anything or have comments or concerns. Your insights are invaluable in helping us continuously improve our school's operations.
I'm eagerly looking forward to reuniting with familiar faces and meeting new ones. Let's embark on a year of growth, learning, and beautiful memories together. See you soon!
Warm regards,
Dr. G

Arrival/Dismissal Plan-Final
Please, review the attached arrival and dismissal plan. After receiving some feedback, we finalized the logistics. To access the procedures, click the picture or the document link below the image.
Please, pay close attention to the tips for arrival, as they will ease the process. Also notice that there is a dismissal procedure for walkers in the afternoon.
Please use the feedback forms if you have questions or want to share anything regarding this plan.
Last, we expect delays during the first two-three days of school during arrival and dismissal as the students and families get used to the procedures. Please receive my most sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
Second Grade Classrooms
Birthdays
We love celebrating students at Biomedical Preparatory. Due to being an allergy-conscious campus, we ask for you to bring allergy-safe snacks (dairy/ nut free) or non-food items when celebrating a student’s birthday with the class. We only allow a treat bag or snack item for the celebration. Birthdays will be celebrated during the last 10 minutes of the school day. Please speak with your child’s teacher about the number of students in the class and if you plan to bring in something for your child’s birthday.

Label all your child's items.
Please, take some time labeling all items that your child will bring to school. We suggest labeling sweaters, jackets, water bottles, lunch boxes, and other loose items that can be misplaced. We have a lost and found, but many things were not claimed by the end of the year. If the item is labeled, we can ensure it will return home promptly.

Uniforms
It was brought to my attention by some parents that they ordered uniforms and will not be ready before the first day of school. Therefore, wear the school colors if possible, but all students are welcome on campus without uniforms until they are delivered to you.
