Great News!
Elementary:
- We are thrilled to celebrate a fantastic achievement from Mrs. Kobliska’s class—they’ve officially reached their donation goal on Imagine Math! Through hard work, dedication, and some seriously impressive math skills, these students have turned their learning into an opportunity to give back. Imagine Math allows students to donate the points they earn by completing lessons toward meaningful causes.
- We just enjoyed our school-wide celebration scheduled by having Basketball Jones join us. Ask your students what they learned.
- Math Night on October 21st was a success! A special thank you goes out to our families, staff, and students who participated in math night.
- Thank you to our PTO who organized the spooky library for our students. Hearing their laughter is the best sound we hear.
- We’re kicking off our 4-day professional development series featuring the incredible Jeff Eelling! This is funded through the Literacy Grant that we received.
- Our annual Halloween Parade is scheduled for Friday, October 31st at 1:30 PM.
Jr/Sr:
- We are collecting data from parents in order to review our policies and practices here at the Jr/Sr High School. It will take 5 minutes, and your voice helps determine next steps for our students.
- The Jr. High football team wrapped up an incredible season, finishing with a perfect 6-0 record!
- 7th graders enjoyed a field trip to the Board of Water and Light. They even got a first class chauffeur on a Charter bus!
District:
- Consider supporting the new Drama club on November 7th or 8th at the High School at 6:30pm with a production of "Knock Knock"!
- We are excited to plan, present, and participate in the first ever County-Wide Professional Development on November 4th hosted at Harper Creek Public Schools.
- We are being recognized by MiMTSS for NUMEROUS awards for this past year. Stay tuned for the official recognition.
Bellevue Family,
This week wasn’t quite as smooth as most, and that’s okay. Every school year brings its ups and downs, and while this one tested us a bit, it also reminded me of the strength and care that define our Bellevue community.
I want to thank our staff for continuing to show up with patience, professionalism, and heart, even when things get tough. And to our students and families, thank you for your continued trust and support.
We’ll take what we learned from this week, make adjustments where needed, and keep moving forward together. Next week brings new opportunities to refocus, reconnect, and continue building on the positives that make Bellevue such a great place to learn and work.
Enjoy the weekend and take a little time to rest and recharge. We’ll be ready to hit the ground running on Monday

Subject: Safety and Awareness in Our Schools
Bellevue Community,
Please remind students that if they see or hear something that doesn’t seem right, whether in person, online, or through social media, they should report it immediately to a trusted adult, staff member, or the police. Even if something feels minor, it’s always better to speak up and let us investigate.
It’s also important to talk with your students about the seriousness of making false threats. These situations are treated with the same level of urgency as real ones and can carry serious consequences. Every report, real or not, impacts our schools, our staff, and our community.
We’re grateful for the ongoing partnership between our schools, families, and local law enforcement in keeping our campuses safe. It truly takes all of us working together to maintain a secure and supportive learning environment.
Thank you for continuing to look out for one another and for your commitment to our students’ safety and well-being.
Take care,
Eric McCalla
