6 Early Release Day - students dismissed at noon

9 Special Olympics

As we enter the month of May and are approaching the end of this school year, I wanted to express our appreciation to our parents, family members, and Avon Lake community in supporting the students at Westview. We appreciate the cooperation and collaboration you have demonstrated with our staff at Westview to best help all children learn and grow. Thank you again!

On Tuesday, March 6th, all elementary students in Avon Lake City Schools will be dismissed at 12:00. Our school day will begin at the regular time of 8:50 and students will be dismissed from the elementary buildings at noon. Dismissal will follow the regular process at 12:00.

Students will eat lunch in the classroom and will be held from 11:15-11:45. Students may pack or purchase a school lunch. If your child buys a school lunch, the menu is below.

Chips

Cheese and Salsa

Apple Slices

Chocolate milk

Students that attend the Champions program after school will not go there due to the buildings closing at noon.

Class lists for the 25-26 school year will be accessible in early August through PowerSchool. To view your student’s classroom teacher for the 25-26 school year, please log into your student’s PowerSchool account and the teacher will be listed under the homeroom tab. An exact date that information will be available will be communicated via email at a later time.

Westview is always appreciative of gifts given to staff members throughout the school year. Important information to know is the value of any individual gift given to a staff member may not be more than $25. Thank you for all you do to support your children and our partnership we have with families.

The Westview PTA appreciates the staff at Westview and plans to show their support with many fun and kind events. Thank you for taking a moment to learn about them by reading below.
