RENAISSANCE LETTERS:

Renaissance Winter Benchmarking reports will be sent home to families via USPS at the end of next week, providing insight into student progress and growth. We hope these tools spark meaningful conversations and continued partnership in supporting each child’s learning.

VISITOR/VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT:

Lilja Elementary School is grateful for the many volunteers who support our students and staff. To help maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment, we have established a Volunteer and Visitor Expectations Agreement outlining guidelines for confidentiality, professional conduct, assigned areas, respect for instruction, and required check-in/check-out procedures.

Families can review the full agreement using the link above, and a printed copy will also be available at the front office sign-in desk for reference. All volunteers will be asked to acknowledge these expectations prior to participating in school activities.

MCAS BEGINS IN MARCH:

This spring, students in Grades 3 and 4 will participate in the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS), the statewide assessment that helps measure student progress and informs instructional planning across Massachusetts.

Families can play an important role in helping students feel confident and prepared. A few helpful ways to support your child include:

  • Maintain regular routines, including a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast
  • Emphasize effort and growth rather than performance or scores
  • Encourage a calm, positive mindset and remind your child that this is an opportunity to show what they know

As a reminder, our MCAS dates are as follows:

  • 3/31 & 4/1: Grade 4 English Language Arts
  • 4/7 & 4/9: Grade 3 English Language Arts
  • 5/6 & 5/7: Grade 3 Math
  • 5/12 & 5/14: Grade 4 Math

Thank you for partnering with us to support students as they approach MCAS with confidence and resilience.

Early Risers/ASAP 2026-27 New Family Registration March 2 - March 31:

  • New Family Registration Flyer
  • Registration Hub - Detailed information including the timeline for each phase of registration, instructions, frequently asked questions, etc.

Please see the Registration tab at natickps.org/asap.

Questions should be emailed to asap@natickps.org. Due to the high volume, we do not handle inquiries by phone.

Note:

  • We typically have a wait list after school. However, families should still apply. This will grant access to priority registration next year. There is no fee to apply.
  • For equity, we use a lottery to assign space after registration ends. Families who register anytime between March 2 and March 31 have equal access to space.

DESE SCHOOL REPORT CARDS AVAILABLE:

Each year, the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) publishes a school report card that shares information about student learning, school climate, and other key indicators.

Please read the attached letter for a link to our school’s report card and additional information. If you have questions after reviewing the report, please contact the school office.
