Buildling A

• Finished excavation and prepped the ground for building foundations.

• Installed underground plumbing and electrical lines beneath the footings.
• Placed steel reinforcement and poured concrete footings in two areas.
• Started work on the elevator pits.

Building B

• Completed underground plumbing and site prep.
• Installed foundation reinforcement and anchor bolts.
• Completed inspections and poured footings.
• Footings reached full strength; forms removed and site cleaned.
• Continued elevator pit work, including waterproofing.

Buildling A

• Inspections of reinforcement steel and anchor bolts.
• Continue foundation work in the remaining area.
• Finish footing pours and begin floor slab preparation.
• Continue elevator pit construction, including waterproofing.
• Ongoing coordination on underground utility work.

Building B

• Complete remaining footing work near Building B.
• Finish elevator pit walls, waterproofing, and backfill.
• Complete pier inspections.
• Coordinate utility room piping installation.
• Begin preparations for structural steel work, starting in early October.

This current phase of work includes two new buildings, the staff/visitors parking lot, and a remodel of the K Quad. Building A is a two-story classroom building along Cutting Blvd with the administrative, student services, and health center offices in the eastern wing. Building B is a combination performing arts and cafeteria supported by a full-cook kitchen, stage, and back of house areas.

We are accepting applications to join the Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC). The CBOC reviews bond-funded school projects and informs the public about bond expenditures and uses.
