A Message from Dr. Sanchez A Message from Dr. Sanchez

Dear PMSA School Community,

As we wrap up semester 1, I’ve been thinking about just how special this December has been for PMSA. It was a month full of moments that brought us together and reminded me why our school community is so wonderful.

We had so many great celebrations, from our Chorus Concert and Taste of PMSA, to the fun and creativity of Senior Stocking, and our annual PTO Holiday Party. Each event reflected the pride, talent, and care that our students, staff, and families bring to PMSA every day. I want to give a sincere thank you to our PTO members for putting together such a lovely holiday event and for the continued time and energy you dedicate to our school.

We also closed out Semester 1 on a very positive note. I’m incredibly proud to share that 140 of our students earned perfect attendance, and as a school, we finished the semester with a strong 94.81% attendance rate. These numbers speak to the commitment of our students and the incredible partnership we have with our families.

I also want to personally thank our entire school community for being so welcoming and supportive. This semester was filled with hard work, growth, and success, and I truly believe that Semester 2 will be even better.

As we head into the holiday break, I hope each of you is able to rest, recharge, and enjoy meaningful time with the people you love. Wishing you a joyful and peaceful holiday season.

Warmly,
Dr. Sanchez

Dra. Sánchez

K-Pop Highlights

K-Pop Club had an exciting start to December! On Wednesday, December 3rd, they hosted a Demon Hunters Sing-Along in the auditorium while fundraising with K-pop-inspired bracelets made by their own club members, snacks, glow sticks, and the launch of a fantastic stuffie raffle – expertly crocheted by member Daisy Orozco.

The following week, on Friday, December 12, they continued their fundraising efforts with a table at Winter Wonderland and capped the night with an energetic dance performance that left the audience calling for an encore!

A huge thank-you to Student Council for hosting them, as well as Ms. Stompor, Ms. Martinez, Mr. Wolff-Klammer, and our security and maintenance staff. They love bringing K-pop to our school community, and none of this would have been possible without their support.

Special congratulations to their raffle winner, senior Victor Vasquez, who shared that he’ll be giving the stuffie as a gift! Thank you for supporting the club, Victor!
