Coelho Middle School Honors Our Veterans
This week, Coelho Middle School held its annual Veterans Day assembly to honor and recognize the brave men and women who have served our country. Students and staff gathered to show their appreciation for the sacrifices made by veterans in defense of our freedom.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all veterans for their dedicated service to our nation. Your courage, commitment, and sacrifice inspire us all, and we are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy because of your service.
To the veterans in our Coelho community and beyond—thank you for your service.
Parent-Teacher Conferences: Dec 10th and 11th
Parent-teacher conference letters will be sent home by Friday, November 21st. This year, the district will be using Sign-Up Genius to make scheduling more convenient for families. You will receive a link via email to select a conference time that works best for your schedule. Please watch for the letter coming home with your child and check your email for the Sign-Up Genius link. We look forward to meeting with you to discuss your child's progress!
COELHO FOOD DRIVE: Nov. 17th thru Dec. 5th
Coelho Middle School will be collecting non-perishable items: cereals, pasta, sauces, peanut butter, granola bars, and canned goods (soups, tuna, beans). Collected items will be shared between our school-based pantry and St. Theresa’s Food Pantry. We understand that grocery costs are at an all-time high. If your means allow and you can provide an item or two, your support will be greatly appreciated as we attempt to give some food stability for those in our Coelho Community.
Coelho Students Shine in Lion's Club Peace Poster Contest
Coelho Middle School is proud to participate in the annual Lion's Club International Peace Poster Contest. This year's theme, "Together as One," challenged students to express their vision of global unity and cooperation through art.
Representatives from both the South Attleboro and South Attleboro Village Lion's Club chapters reviewed the outstanding student submissions at their meetings this past week and selected the winners.
Congratulations to Evelyn Anand and Holy Khalil for their exceptional artwork and for representing Coelho Middle School in this international competition!

Time Capsule Hunt: Blast from the Past!
The search is on! We're on a mission to locate a time capsule from the year 2000, and to kick off the excitement, we've posted a fun display featuring staff photos from 25 years ago. Can you find your teacher? Stop by and see if you can match the throwback photos—complete with flip phones, Y2K vibes, and some unforgettable hairstyles—to the staff members you know today! Stay tuned as we continue our hunt for the time capsule. Who knows what treasures from 2000 we'll uncover? This is one mystery the whole Coelho community can enjoy together!

Attleboro Families:
Attleboro High School greatly appreciates the support of families at all AHS sporting events. While most students are there to watch the games and enjoy the event, a number of students have been left/dropped off unsupervised. This has created safety concerns and disruptions for other fans in attendance.
ALL middle school aged students and younger MUST be accompanied by an adult at all high school events. We appreciate your support keeping all in attendance supervised while allowing an enjoyable environment for all.
Please know this expectation is currently in place for AHS events moving forward.
We look forward to seeing you all soon.

Student Drop-Off Safety Reminder
When dropping off your students, please ensure they exit on the left side of the car (closest to the building). This helps keep our children safe by preventing them from stepping directly into traffic.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe drop-off environment for all students!
APS Cell Phone Policy
Please make yourself aware of the Attleboro Public School's Cell Phone Policy, as we will also be reviewing it with all the students on the 1st day of school
