🏫 What’s Happening at School
A note from the Principal...
Dear Abraham Lincoln Families,
Fall is definitely in the air! With the cooler mornings and warmer afternoons, please remember to send students dressed in layers so they can be comfortable throughout the day.
As I wrap up my first month as principal, I want to share how much I’ve enjoyed getting to know the Abraham Lincoln community. This is a special place, and I am grateful for the warm welcome I’ve received. Please don’t ever hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns — I understand what it means to place your trust in me, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.

đź’ˇ Helpful Tips & Resources for Families
October is Bullying Prevention Month
At Abraham Lincoln School, we are committed to creating a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for every student. October is Bullying Prevention Month, a time to remind ourselves of the importance of kindness, respect, and standing up for one another.
Families play an important role in supporting this work. Here are a few ways you can help at home:
-
Talk openly. Ask your child about their day and listen closely — kids are more likely to share concerns when they feel heard.
-
Model kindness. Show respect in your own interactions; children notice how adults handle conflict and stress.
-
Encourage speaking up. Remind your child that it’s brave and important to tell a trusted adult if they or someone else is being treated unkindly.
Together, we can ensure that every child feels valued, safe, and supported — because kindness is at the heart of Abe.
