We experienced an amazing week of instruction last week and we are gearing up for another one. Please ensure that you are on time for school in morning. Students are expected to be in their homeroom classes by 7:20 am. The car rider line in the back of the school will close at 7:30 am. If you arrive after this time you will need to report to the front of the school to enter.

Remember that Wednesdays and Fridays are "Spirit Wear Day" students are allow to wear a Jenkins shirt or sweatshirt with the appropriate uninform bottom.

Parents, please check parent portal for grade and attendance information.

In light of Tropical Storm Debby, many of our community partners are offering assistance with uniforms and school supply give away. There are two distribution sites, West Chatham Elementary (820 Pine Barren Rd.) and Student Affairs (768 Grant Street).

Peach State Tour:

Peach State Tour information sessions are offered in-person and via Zoom Webinars. These sessions will allow students to learn more about Augusta University, Georgia State University, Georgia Tech and the University of Georgia. These events are FREE and open to ALL high school students and their families, but space is limited! The Peach State Tour colleges will be at Jenkins High School Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm.

• Please drop students off in the designated area during morning drop off and afternoon pick up.
• Students can not be dropped of in the back of the school after 7:30 am. They will need to enter through the front of the school and report to the front office to receive a tardy pass to class.
• Please do not block traffic in the afternoon when splitting into the double lanes for pick up. Please pull forward and obey the staff members on duty. It is imperative that you be patient and stay focused.

As we prepare for the start of the 2024-25 SY, we want our families to be aware that all Student email passwords have been reset in preparation for the new school year.
