Hello Elm Street School Families and Friends!

What a week we've had at the Nest!

Our grade 5 students participated in 2 transition activities to help them get ready for moving up to Walpole Middle School- a visit from the guidance counselors at WMS and a trip up to WMS for a tour. The after school enrichment drama club absolutely brought the house down with their performance of Matilda, Jr. on Wednesday and are already planning for the next show next school year. We welcomed our incoming kindergarteners and families on Thursday for Peek and Practice to help the class of 2038 feel ready for their big start in the fall. And lastly we rounded out the week with our all school field day on Friday.

A HUGE THANK YOU to all of the family volunteers who made today possible. The weather cooperated, there was a great mix of water games to keep everyone cool, the DJ was spinning upbeat tunes that kept everyone dancing, the Survivor trail was better than ever, and the smiles and joy were overflowing all day long. An extra shout out to Mr. Kane, Mr. Iadarola, Mrs. Harrington, and Mrs. Hurley for all the work they did to coordinate all the events and volunteers!

End of the School Year Medication Pick Up Information

Please plan on picking up your child's medication the week of 6/9 between 9:30-2:30pm or on the last day of school (June 13th) until 12pm. The health office has stock Epi-Pens in the event of an emergency.

****If you have a grade 5 student, you will not be able to pick up their medication until 6/11 due to the Grade 5 Field Day on 6/10.

Unfortunately, I am unable to send home medication with your student and we are unable to store medication over the summer.

As a reminder, your child will need updated medication orders for the 2025-26 school year that are dated after 06/30/2025. I will reach out to you prior to the start of the school year with availability to drop off new orders and their medication(s).

Please let me know if you have any questions, concerns or need a different accommodation for pick up (ie if your child attends extended day AM/PM).
