Dear Lilyana Elementary Families,

Next week will be another exciting one at Lilyana! We’re looking forward to welcoming loved ones for Grandparents & Special Friends Day and enjoying the Book Fair together. These special events are a wonderful way to celebrate our community and the joy of learning as we head into Thanksgiving Break.

🦃Grandparents and Special Friends Day is NEXT WEEK! We cannot wait to see you!

👕LOST & FOUND - We will have our Lost and Found items out next week, please be sure to check for items that might belong to your family. At 2:00PM on Friday, November 21st, the items that are left will be donated.

🌟When you are visiting Lilyana, you need to have your license with you. A photo will not be accepted.

🌟Dismissal: Please have your car tags in car window. Students will not be able to get into the car without the tag. A photo will not be accepted and you will need to show your license at the front office.

• Prosper ISD will administer the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) to second and fourth grade students district-wide in December. The CogAT is a norm-referenced, standardized test measuring learned reasoning and problem-solving skills in three different areas: verbal, quantitative, and nonverbal. Reasoning skills develop gradually throughout a person's lifetime and at different rates for different individuals. CogAT result information is used by teachers to better understand a student’s ability in relation to his or her achievement.

• Our campus dates are: 2nd Grade - December 9th - 10th & 4th Grade - December 10th

• There is no need to prepare for this test. You can support your child by making sure they are rested and well-fed on the day of the test.
