For Teachers of Multilingual Learners, November 2024
Thank you!
In late fall there are many things to be grateful for in our shared goal of supporting our students. We have welcomed new and returning students and connected, building relationships one interaction at a time. Supplemental language supports can look different for students, based on their needs, background experience and level of English proficiency.

Recommended Art Exhibition
As part of an APP Program at Central, ELL teacher Vini Zucko and classroom teacher Sunny Jun co-planned and took a class to see a special art exhibit downtown. The experience was a collaborative success and was well received by the students. The exhibit is at the Legacy Gallery downtown, 630 Yates until December 7. According to their website, "Themes of identity, connection to ancestry, Black beauty, Black joy, strength, representation, community, and home are all explored through the meaningful pieces shared in this exhibition".
