NAKHE Newsletter
October 2025
It’s hard to believe we are less than three months away from our 2026 conference in Nashville, TN on January 6-9. We are looking forward to seeing you, participating in wonderful presentations, reconnecting with colleagues, and making new friends. And…line dancing, hearing live music, catching a hockey game (Jan 8)…—all the things Nashville can offer outside of our conference presentations.
You can find our tentative conference agenda on the NAKHE website. If you have not received your conference proposal status notification, please reach out to us. They all went out but we’ve heard some may have floated away in the cloud! You can contact our executive director, Donna Wooland at admin@nakhe.org. You can also find your presentation information on the agenda (linked above).
If you have not already, please register. The early bird registration deadline was October 15, but registration is still OPEN. Our hotel room block is filling fast. We encourage making your hotel reservations soon.
If you aren’t already following us on social media, please do. We are posting videos, updates, and reminders about the conference there as well. Next we will be posting interview podcast videos with our conference lecturers.
Have questions about the conference program? Reach out to me, nanneyl@uncw.edu. Have questions about conference logistics (ex: hotel info)? Reach out to our conference managers, Kim and Jaime Scott, at conventionmanager@nakhe.org.
