This week in kindergarten, we have taken advantage of the warm weather and have been spending extra time outside. We also completed our first NWEA test. Hopefully this time the warm weather is here to stay!!

Up Close with Pollination
To end our pollination unit, we got to go outside to find and pick different parts of dandelions. We then got to observe them using magnifying glasses and magiscopes. Lastly, we got to observe them in our dandelion books!

This week, students continue to learn about decimals and perimeter during 3rd and 4th grade math. In Literacy, we have been working on understanding different perspectives of the Patriots and Loyalists during the American Revolution. On Tuesday, Kara from the Harris Center came in to teach us about bird watching!

Field Day is Coming!
This week in PE, students are getting ready for Field Day. It is scheduled for June 10th from 9-12! Students should come wearing sneakers and dress for the weather. Students should also bring a change of clothes as there will be games where they will get wet.
