On early release days, our offices are available for telephone assistance from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM only.

In-person assistance is available, on an early release days, from 8:45 AM to 10:45 AM only.

On teacher planning days, we will have limited assistance, due to all staff's mandatory attendance for professional development.

E2E TRANSPORTATION BUS PASSES

Bus passes for this school year have been issued to all eligible families who reside between 2 and 6 miles from Franklin Academy-Pembroke Pines.

If you selected bus transportation for your child during registration but have not received a bus pass and believe your child is eligible, please contact E2E Transportation at route@e2etransportation.com for assistance.

POWERSCHOOL PARENT PORTAL ACCESS

PowerSchool Parent Portal Access letters have been delivered via Bright Arrow messaging to all families who are new to Franklin Academy-Pembroke Pines.

Families who were already enrolled should have previously received their Parent Portal access information.

How to Setup PowerSchool Parent Portal Account

Welcome to Franklin's Parent Academy Tutorial Series. As a Franklin parent, you get access to our PowerSchool Parent Portal. In the first few weeks of school, we will send you our PowerSchool Parent Portal access letter. This letter outlines the steps necessary to setup your parent portal account.. The first step is to open Student and Parent Sign In and click Create Account. Click Create Account. Click First Name. Type First Name and Press Tab. Type Last Name and Press Tab. Type Email and Press Tab. Type Re-enter Email and Press Tab. Type Desired Username and Press Tab. Type Password. Click Re-enter Password. Type Re-enter Password. Scroll down and click Student Name to enter your student's name. . Type Student Name and Press Tab. Type Access ID and Press Tab The confidential Access ID and Access password can be found in the Access letter we sent you. (see step 1 ). Type Access Password. Scroll down and click Enter. After you create your account, the portal sign-in page will reload with a message that your new PowerSchool account has been created. Check your email for a link to verify your account.. Find the verification email, which will be sent to the email address you listed on your account setup. Click the verification link. The PowerSchool Parent portal will reload, this time with a message that you have verified your account and can now login. Enter username . Type Password. Click Sign In. You now have a valid PowerSchool Parent Portal account and can login 24/7.

How to Find Student's Clever Credentials Inside of PowerSchool

Welcome to Franklin's Parent Academy Tutorial Series. You can utilize PowerSchool's Parent Portal to find your student's Clever credentials.. The first step is to navigate to the PowerSchool Parent Portal at ps.franklin-academy.org Enter your username. Enter your password. Click Sign In. If you have multiple students, you can toggle between them by selecting their name.. Scroll down the vertical menu and click Student IDs. Under the 'Clever Credentials heading, you will find their username, which is their Franklin issued email address.. On the next line you will find their Clever password. Students cannot reset their own password, so if there is a problem, please contact the campus to get their password reset.. That's It. The student's Clever credentials are their Google credentials. Students who have the Clever Browser Extension installed can securely access all of their applications through Clever, without having to remember more than one password.

How to Update Your School Contact Information

Welcome to Franklin's Parent Academy Tutorial series.. To update your email and/or phone number, navigate to the PowerSchool SIS Parent Portal.. The first step is to type your Username and press Tab or Enter.. Click Password. Type your existing password. Click Sign In button. If you have multiple children attending Franklin, click the name of the first student to be updated. In this scenario, we are updating John.. Click Forms. Scroll and click Contact Information Update. From this form you can create new contacts, delete outdated ones and update existing records. In this example we are updating Susie Doe's email address.Scroll to Susie's listing and click the Edit button . Scroll down and click the edit button (pencil icon) . Click Email field . Type your NEW Email. Click Add. Scroll down and click Add to save your changes . Scroll down and click Submit. Scroll up and click OK. You now know how to update your student's contact information. Congratulations.

Florida's annual Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday, often called the "Tax-Free Holiday," helps families save money while preparing for the new school year.

The 2026 Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday was established through HB 7031E, legislation approved by the Florida Legislature in June 2026.

This month-long tax holiday takes effect upon the Governor's approval, giving families an extended opportunity to purchase eligible back-to-school items without paying sales tax.

Eligible purchases may include school supplies, learning materials, clothing, footwear, and other qualifying necessities. By reducing the cost of these essential items, the sales tax holiday helps families stretch their budgets and better prepare students for a successful school year.

The 2026 Florida Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday began on July 20, 2026, and continues through August 20, 2026, giving families an entire month to save on essential back-to-school purchases.

What began as a short tax-free weekend has evolved into a month-long savings event, providing more time and flexibility for families to shop for school-year necessities. Eligible items include school supplies, clothing, footwear, learning aids, and other qualifying back-to-school essentials.

With the extended shopping period, parents and guardians can spread out purchases, take advantage of seasonal sales, and better manage their budgets while preparing students for a successful start to the new school year.

During this sales tax holiday:

You will not pay the 6% Florida state sales tax on eligible back-to-school purchases.
You will also be exempt from any applicable local discretionary surtax, providing even greater savings.
Savings apply to a variety of qualifying items, including clothing, footwear, school supplies, learning aids, and other back-to-school essentials.

Be sure to take advantage of this month-long opportunity to stock up on everything your child needs for a successful start to the 2026-2027 school year while enjoying valuable tax savings!

Students enrolled in Grades K-5 who have a sibling enrolled in Grades 6-8/MYP Years 1-3 may remain on campus in a supervised environment until their sibling is dismissed at 3:15 PM.

Likewise, students in Grades 6-8/MYP Years 1-3 who have a sibling in Grades K-5 may arrive on campus as early as 7:00 AM with their younger sibling.

This service is provided at no cost to families and is designed to support households with students attending different grade levels.

This innovative program provides students with a structured, safe, and positive environment for after school hours. More than just a place to go after school, students enrolled in the program are provided a variety of activities designed to engage imagination, support their academic growth, and enhance motor and social skills.
