The Board of Trustees met on August 21, 2025 during a Special Board meeting to approve the ratified contract with CSEA for the 2025-26 school year.

Compensation Agreements in the settlement included:

  • An agreement on an overall compensation increase for 2025-26 of 4.75%. The 4.75% compensation is broken down into the following:

    • An increase to the salary schedule by 2.0% for all CSEA members, effective July 1, 2025

    • A one-time, off-schedule bonus payment of 2.25%

    • A 0.50% increase in the district's medical health benefits contribution

In addition, effective January 2024 and 2025, the District contributed an additional 0.65% towards health benefits to offset and help employees with rising health care rates.

CSEA members can expect to see these salary enhancements following the timeline below:

    • 6/23/25: Tentative Agreement Reached Between CSEA and OGEA
    • 7/1/25: CSEA members voted to ratify the tentative agreement
    • 8/21/21: The Board approved the agreement at a Special Board Meeting
    • 9/11/25: CSEA's new, updated salary schedules go to Board for Approval
    • 9/30/25: First payroll with new salaries
    • 10/10/25: 2% retroactive pay to July 1, 2025 issued
    • 11/10/25: One-time, off-schedule 2.25% bonus payment issued

As a practice, OGSD offers parity across bargaining units so that employees receive the same percentage compensation in the negotiations process.
