Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way (YAY!). Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them to become Bolder, Prouder, and Stronger Readers. AND—as always—every book they buy earns rewards for our school.
Our focus this school year has been on spending more time reading. That could be reading to yourself, a peer or parent, a sibling, or even a pet. We just want students to spend as much time as possible reading for enjoyment and growing their passion for books. The book fair is another way we can encourage students to read as they choose and purchase their own books. This is a great opportunity for parents to partner with their child to read and talk about books. We hope you will partner with us to support your child’s love for and growth in reading.
Here’s what you need to know about the Fair, which will take place from February 27th-March 3rd in the library. Your child will visit the fair during his/her library time throughout the week (see schedule below).
