NES Parent Newsletter 04/13/26
April 13, 2026

Dear NES Families,
✨ School News & Celebrations ✨
A big thank you to our amazing PTO for hosting our very first after-school Glow Party! It was a HUGE success with an incredible turnout—over 200 students joined in on the fun, and it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces.
We also want to extend our appreciation to our families for your patience during the pick-up line. Your cooperation helped ensure a safe and smooth dismissal for everyone, and we truly appreciate it.
📚 Student Achievement
We are so proud of our students who competed in Battle of the Books! It was a tough competition, and we tied for 3rd place. We commend these students for their dedication—taking the time to read the required books and practicing beyond the school day.
➕ Looking Ahead
The district Math Bowl competition is next Friday, and we are excited to see our students’ hard work pay off!
🚌 Reminders
- 2nd Grade Field Trip – 4/16: Signed permission slips are required for students to attend.
- Tutoring begins Monday for students who are signed up. Please make arrangements for timely pick-up afterward.
We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! 🌟
