CES Happenings

Dear CES Family,

Four weeks left of school! Hard to believe. I had a staff meeting this past week and received a very clear request from my teachers for both staff and parents regarding the time that is left: Don't give up! Hang in there! Why? There is still much for our students to learn in the last four weeks that will be critical to their success next year. If I've learned anything about my staff, it's that they are tenacious about their instructional time in the classroom, regardless of the time of year. They will continue to teach their hearts out through the end of the school year. Thanks for forging ahead with is as we sprint for the finish line!

A couple of events this coming week to bring to your attention:

  • 6th grade parents, don't miss the CJSHS orientation for your student next Monday, 5/19, at 7:00 in the CJSHS library. It's a great opportunity to learn about all of the offerings available to your student next year as a seventh-grade student. A big transition is just around the corner!
  • Our annual Bike Rodeo happens this Wednesday, 5/21. It's on the blacktop right after school and runs until 4:00 PM. Don't miss it. Lots of fun for all of our students.

Check out the calendar! It now runs through the end of the school year. Stay tuned, as events may be added or modified as needed.

A great weekend to all of you.

Sincerely,

Scott Cory

Principal
