We would like to thank our community for their support of the millage request, which appeared on the ballot in the most recent election. Though we fell short of the votes needed, we appreciate everyone for inviting us to your neighborhood meetings and places of worship to allow us to discuss the three priorities of the district:
- Building a brand new middle school campus
- Renovating Ole Main
- Building an indoor sports complex
We will continue to do our part to share how these priorities would benefit our students and staff.
We invite you to attend the renaming ceremony of Seventh Street Elementary School! The school will be renamed North Little Rock 6 Academy of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences. The name is a nod to the six black teenagers who tried to integrate North Little Rock High School in September 1957.
The event will take place on Friday, November 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Seventh Street Elementary School.
The Meadow Park Elementary School Drumline placed first in the Elementary Division at Kranksgiving, which is a band competition featuring schools from across the region.
Kudos to Mr. Patrick Thames, the school's music teacher, and Mr. Gerald Baker, the fifth grade teacher, for preparing the students for opportunities like these!
